![]() Lifecycle Rules are applied to some or all of the files in a Backblaze B2 Bucket with each bucket having its own Lifecycle Rules. This will lead you to a new website named Google Takeout. Once you get to the new page, scroll down to the section labeled Download or delete your data and select download your data. This capability is available for the Web GUI, CLI, and API. From here you want to select Manage your data & personalization which will bring you to the page where you can download your data. The upside is, I don't require a NAS in order to restore any client system data. Lifecycle Rules enable the Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage service to automatically hide and/or delete older versions of files stored in Backblaze B2. The downside is I have to pay for multiple licenses of the client application. Restoration requires that I have a copy of the backup data (I maintain three+ versions) and the client application. This approach provides me with all the features of a quality backup compression, dedupe, incremental, block-level backup, etc. My current scenario uses a full-featured backup application on each client system that saves the backup data to my NAS, which is copied to an external drive and the cloud. Is there anything I can do on the ABB side to make backing up the ABB data to B2 more efficient/faster? ![]()
